Club Charities

Each year the club adopts a couple of charities to support. This is not meant to be a raison d'etre but merely the opportunity to share with worthy causes for those that are less fortunate than ourselves.

We have raised many thousands over the years from our rallies and sponsored rides. When we are choosing our charities we always have favourites that are of benifits to motorcyclists.

The Charities that have been donated to most recently include;

Devon Freewheelers are a team of 50 volunteer Emergency Vehicle drivers who are dedicated to providing a weekday out of hours service and 24/7 weekend service supporting the NHS in delivering essentials throughout Devon. In 2015 PB&C MCC Donated £150 to the 'blood bikes' collected from the Rockers Rides in 2014.

National Association for Bikers with a Disability they help bikers to get back on two wheels, they are active and have grants available to help to modify bikes for use by disabled riders. In 2014 PB&C MCC donated £100 to the NABD collected mainly from Rockers Ride donations.

These people save lives, many of them motorcyclists involved in RTA on the 10,000 miles of roads in Devon of which less than 50 are motorways. This is a fantastic service and they need our support as one day we might need theirs.

Please click on the logos to visit their individual websites and find out more about the chosen charities.

If you see Bev at any of our events dig deep because these two charities need our support.
